We lied on open grass and watched the sky silently light up again and again with perry winkle crackles, the trees brisling furociously. We were terrified but it was to beautiful to retreat to our separate cabins. We only decided it was time at the first drop of rain. The second we stood up thunder roared and rain began to pour. I sprinted into my cabin holding back a scream not to wake the campers and slammed the windows shut. Now I am safe and sound in my bed falling asleep tithe storm.
